Twoja perspektywa jest bezcenna. Przyjdź, podziel się swoją historią i sprawdź, jak robią to inni!
We’re meeting on November 27, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Allegro headquarters – and as always, it’s going to be insightful, relaxed, and very human.
This time, we’re diving into a topic that every developer encounters sooner or later: collaboration with PMs (Project/Product Managers).
I Was a Manager – Now I’m Back to Coding
After reaching a senior position, is the next natural step a move into management? I decided to find out, and after almost two years of this “experiment,” I returned to a technical role with some valuable reflections. During my talk, I’ll share the practical pros and cons of taking the managerial path as the next milestone in your career.
Radosław Wojtysiak – Senior Front-End Software Engineer @ Allegro

A knowledge-sharing enthusiast who helps others understand the developer’s world. Former IT team manager – now back to coding.
Better is the enemy of good
A presentation dedicated to the importance of responsibility and honest analysis in managing projects, both technological and business-related. In today’s world, where innovations and solutions emerge rapidly, it’s easy to fall into the trap of blindly chasing the “better” without fully understanding the consequences and risks.
Using the example of TOON – a project that caused a lot of buzz and stirred many emotions – we will discuss why it’s important to maintain healthy skepticism and not blindly trust the promises of new technologies or solutions. Not everything that glitters and is marketed as “innovative” is truly valuable or sensible.
We will also cover the topic of vendor lock-in – the phenomenon of becoming dependent on a specific technology or service provider, which can limit our flexibility, freedom of choice, and control over the project. How not to become a tool in the hands of others’ interests, and how to make conscious decisions that bring real value rather than just apparent advantages. Honest, thorough analysis and a responsible approach to implementing innovations are the foundations of lasting success.
