Dmytro Dragan (Lead Big Data Engineer)

Lead Big Data Engineer with a decade of experience in Data Engineering. Has navigated the evolving landscape of data technology, starting with mainframe migrations and advancing to real-time AI fraud detection systems. Currently working as a Data Architect, Dmytro specializes in designing and implementing robust data solutions. A strong advocate for open-source projects, has deep expertise in tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink and LangChain. Passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and efficiency in data processing and analytics.

Session Abstract: Do vectors really need a dedicated database? In this session, we'll test that idea with S3 Vectors and LanceDB.

Session Abstract: I'll introduce AWS Nuke for systematic resource cleanup, a hard reset button for AWS! We'll dive into exactly how to build a production-ready solution by elevating the standalone CLI tool into an automated service using a custom AWS Architecture. You'll learn how to enable your team, see the automation in action via a demo, and discover why you absolutely shouldn't eat the brown M&M's.
